Siete Leguas Añejo Tequila Named Best Añejo, Receives Double Gold at 2017 San Francisco World Spirits Competition
12 Sazerac tequilas receive top medals
Chicago, IL (June 13, 2017) – Siete Leguas Añejo Tequila was named Best Añejo at the 17th annual San Francisco World Spirits Competition where a record-breaking 2,100 entries were submitted for a blind tasting.
In addition to being named Best Añejo, Siete Leguas Añejo also received a Double Gold Medal. The celebrated Double Gold medal is only given to the few entries that receive a Gold medal rating by all the members of the judging panel. This year, 43 of the industry’s finest spirits experts reviewed each entry before ultimately awarding Sazerac tequilas with a Double Gold medal and a total of 13 medals.
